Ahead of the London leg of the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour at Battersea Power Station, Nottingham will be one of the first places in the country to experience the jaw-dropping display of Freestyle Motocross (FMX), when the Red Bull X-Fighters Jam arrives at the Old Market Square on the 2nd of July, for a special free event.

The Red Bull X-Fighters Jams are a warm up to the main competitive event, giving spectators up and down the country the chance to check out the break-taking tricks that will be on display when the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour arrives in London on 14th August 2010.

Red Bull X-Fighters is a high-octane showdown in which the world’s best FMX riders combine power, skill, showmanship and bravery to perform gravity defying motorcycle tricks. This year, the event series touches down in London for the second time and Nottingham gets a chance to preview the drama first hand. The Red Bull X Fighters Jams will visit Newcastle, Brighton, Leeds as well as Nottingham. Spectators will get the chance to see four top FMX riders in action including Chris Birch, the only British rider to compete in the main event in London.

The event is free and starts at 5pm (with a second show at 8pm), spectators will be admitted to the Old Market Square on a first come, first admitted basis.
