Features - Reviews

Currently touring across the world, Hauschka the German electronic lover, delivers a gorgeous blend of strings with piano that increase in texture producing a dramatic feel. His song Freibad is an imaginative concept with the many different sounds taking you on a journey; something he should be used to doing successfully with ten years of classical piano study tightly snuck under his belt.

On one level you hear the hustle and bustle of the piano that goes off on a playful tangent, but then you get the majestic horns driving the two sounds together.

Now onto his 4th album, Ferndorf, he continues to make up his vivid rhythmic creations.

He's not interested in selling millions of records but rather to get a million eyes opening up to classical music in the modern world and a million ears to understand what his music's about.
