Postcode is a fresh sounding five piece from that well known musical hotbed Isle of Man!
Their album called Zebraland, is a smorgasbord of fuzzy guitars, gorgeous vocals and lo-fi garage rock. Their greatest strength lies in vocalist Marie Reynolds who has a distinctive and magical vocal which transports the songs to a higher plane.
There are songs such as opener Drowning which is modern garage rock right out of the top draw. The album also reflects their tender side as well particularly on the doleful Daisies.
This is a band that fit in well with the modern indie music climate, but their fuzzy guitar sound is what gives them the opportunity to standout and not just get lumped into a scene.
