News - Live Music & Gigs

Paloma Faith that is. The extravagant Glastonbury Sunday afternoon performance showcased why Paloma has gone from strength to strength over the last 18 months. A huge voice and great entertainment parked somewhere between burlesque and just plain odd, Faith certainly delivered on a stage where many others have fallen a little flat this year. Coming out to the relatively small audience (the problem with playing early at the Pyramid Stage) in a flesh coloured skin-tight outfit, Paloma attached two huge inflated balls to her shoulder straps which seemed quite cumbersome but failed to negatively impact on her performance and gave her something to entertain herself with between songs. It made for a very uplifting change from the dreary Muse set the night before, and an interesting one for the photographers. Playing her brand of alternative soul Paloma Faith is worth checking out on this performance.
