News - Nightlife

Heading down to London for a summer weekend and need to know where to find the best nightlife?

proud-camden

Bangers & Mash are set to steal the scene once again at Proud Camden as they wow the crowds with a host of high-calibre bands and DJs throughout July and August.

The night attracts all the pretty young things in Camden, with regular guests including Pixie Geldof, Noel Fielding and Henry Holland. The Prop & Go Motto means there’s never a dull moment - it’s fancy dress at the ready; props aren’t just encouraged they’re positively rewarded!

Expect DJ sets from the Filthy Dukes, the purveyors of the finest in electro-disco-funk in all the land on July 17th, those Chingford rockers The Rifles on July 24th and Heartbreak the Italian power-pop duo on July 31st.

August kicks off with Reverend and the Makers on the 7th, and the eclecticism continues with Alphabeat on the August 21st who were named by the NME as the biggest Scandinavian group since ABBA, and garage indie rockers The Subways on August 28th.

Previous acts include the New Young Pony Club, Jodie Harsh, Mystery Jets, Babyshambles, Frank Musik, Dirty Pretty Things, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Milke Live, Esser and the Noisettes amongst many others!

Flit between two rooms: mashed-up indie disco electro and pop in one and funk motown hip-hop and grime in the other.

There will be Live Caricature & Face Art, Kissing games, props, fancy dress and loads more wonderful happenings every Friday at Proud Camden.
