News - Nightlife

Fashionable females are invited to an evening packed full of glamour and style, as The Cornerhouse, Nottingham hosts a special Ladies Night in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness.

The event, on 11 August, will include demonstrations of the latest hair styles from Icon Hair and Beauty and makeovers courtesy of the top brands at Boots in the Victoria Centre. Renowned jeweller Carolyn Codd will be showcasing her latest designs and all this will be washed down with cocktails and canapés provided by The Cornerhouse’s many restaurants and bars.

Taking place on all four floors of the complex, this will be followed by an exclusive fashion show and Champagne reception in Revolution. Featuring fashions from LK Bennett, Ted Baker, Phase Eight, Hobbs and Warehouse all courtesy of John Lewis, and Project, Collard Manson and Bantum Clothing, it will be a chance to catch a coveted glimpse of the new season’s collections ahead of the crowds. Icon Hair and Beauty will be making sure the model’s hair matches their stunning clothes, while makeup will be by Dior at Boots.

The free demonstrations will be taking place in the atrium at The Cornerhouse from 6pm on 11 August - perfect for dropping in with the girls after work. The fashion show is also a free event, starting at 8pm, but entry will be by ticket only. Tables of four or six can be pre-booked through Revolution and everyone booking in advance will be entered into a prize draw to win the complete pamper experience with a ‘I Deserve It Day’ courtesy of Icon Hair and Beauty worth £150.

All fashionistas attending will also receive a goody bag full of hair and beauty samples, vouchers and sweeties and a raffle will be held on the night to raise money for the charity.

To book tickets for the fashion show, call Revolution on 0115 959 8072.
