Tron Arcade Competition

News - Live Music & Gigs

Get yourself down to Cineworld in the Cornerhouse on Saturday 4th December to take on allcomers at the original 80s Tron arcade games as part of Cineworld's promotion of the forthcoming Disney blockbuster Tron: Legacy which is released on December 17th.

Those of you probably in your thirties will remember the crazy light cycles and battle tanks and managing to finally defeat the MCP, and now you can relive your childhood memories as Nottingham's Cineworld will be the only cinema in the country to feature these arcade machines.

They are being loaned to the cinema by freelance TV presenter, model and retro arcade machine collector Jonathan Thompson who will also be on hand to answer questions about his work and his collection.

The special Tron Tournament starts on Saturday 4th December at 2.00pm, so fans can compete to prove who is the ultimate retro gamer, and to get their hands on tons of Tron goodies!

Don't miss it - and bring your kids, make them understand that the Xbox 360 and the PS3 has nothing on the classic computer games!
