scarletUnsigned Act underdogs, Scarlet Harlots are hitting the tour trail. With MySpace plays already spilling over the 10,000 a day mark, the band previously supported Young Knives, The Twang and Jamie T, and are now ready to spread their genre bending style across the UK. The band, whose aim is to combine elements of Drum 'n' Bass, Garage and Dub Step within their sound have recently finished recording with Sheffield crossover producer Toddla T for forthcoming releases and have also been blessed by the remix skills of bass heavy DJ Raffertie.

The Birmingham lads are currently being plugged by Radio 1 DJ, Mary-Ann Hobbs, Culture Show presenter and 6 Music DJ, Lauren Laverne. They have even won an unlikely fan in the form of famine nemesis and professional Monday hater, Sir Bob Geldof.

By straddling sound and rhythm as if the very concept of genre does not exist, Scarlet Harlots are capturing the cultural zeitgeist of 2009 and setting roofs on fire across the UK in the process.

Catch the boys live at:
