In light of the forthcoming ice hockey season for the Nottingham Panthers, we locked ourselves in a room with a semi-naked 6'5" Coach Corey Neilson after the Panther's training session on Thursday 27th August. (He's MAASSSSIVVE!)
Having caught a few minutes of the session, the players looked to be gelling well, and the skill levels looked impressive. Kevin Bergin seemed to be a key figure and in good spirits and there was a definate positive vibe around the changing rooms at this early stage.
Gary Moran was accomodating enough to organise a few minutes with some of the players for us (he's very busy but sounds keen to get the season started with a visit from the Belfast Giants on Saturday 5th September) and you should look out for reports and news on the Panther's title challenge all season here at Freeq magazine.
