Back for a second consecutive year, the Fast Track to FIB Heineken competition is once again offering one act the chance to perform at this year's Benicássim festival in Spain. Promoter Vince Power, has teamed up with creative community www.supajam.com to find Europe's newest super-group. Having already confirmed a monumental line up including The Killers, Oasis, Kings of Leon, Franz Ferdinand, Lily Allen, Glasvegas and Paul Weller, fans have come to expect bands of the very highest calibre, so competition for a slot on the Benicássim bill will be fiercer than ever.

The contest, which launches next week on the newly designed Supajam website, allows bands to submit their music online. A careful selection process follows (see below) before the final five bands battle it out at a live showdown in Piccadilly's The Pigalle Club.

Two weeks later the winner will be performing their music on one of the most exciting festival stages in the world.

The selection process works like this:

· March 30th - May 15th - The contest launches and artists upload their tracks to the Supajam website. www.supajam.com
· May 15th - May 30th - All tracks are released to the public on the Supajam website and the first round voting commences.
· June 1st - June 12th - The top 40 acts are revealed on the Supajam website.
· June 15th - The 5 finalists are announced.
· June 23rd - The battle of the bands at the Pigalle Club
· July 19th - The winners play at this years FIB Heineken festival!!!
